The most hostile workplace I have ever been in.
Pros
While I worked there I received the inflated title of Director of Marketing & Communications. In the past, I've always had 'marketing coordinator' or 'associate'; having a great title like that is nice resume candy.
Cons
-The most hostile workplace I had ever been part of. -The job is impossible to keep. I worked there for 5 weeks, and every week I was there someone either quit or was fired; on the 5th week I was terminated. Other than the owner and VP, the longest working employee was there for only 4 months at the time. -I made only $32k/year, but I worked 55 hours per week. My shift was 8:30am-6:30pm M-F, and I frequently worked until 7:30pm. We have vendors in India that I would have to conduct business with at 10pm after work. I worked sometimes on Saturdays, and still answered emails on Sundays. -The owner yelled at everyone there -The owner was very nitpicky. We spent hours making subtle changes to a flyer; changing the font, the color of the border, moving a picture an inch to the left or right.
