Pros
Decent employee discount and you will get a lot of good experience because they offer a lot more services here than the average general practice.
Cons
This company is terrible to work for. The owner is cheap and doesn’t care about anyone that works for him. They don’t even provide real vision and dental insurance, it’s a “discount program.” It didn’t cover a dime of my contact lenses. The pay is not good. You only get one week of vacation time each year until you’ve been there for 5 years and you can’t even use it until you’ve been there for one year. They also don’t contribute anything to your 401K. They never want to fire anyone so you’re stuck with employees that are bad workers and that are inappropriate/unprofessional. There is no real training for the techs, you are thrown in and you control your success there, It’s sink or swim.
