Pros

One of the top training programs in the country and probably in the world. In the first couple months I've been here I've learned almost more than I did in all four years of college. This is an amazing opportunity!

Cons

Some parts of the program are new and therefore have a few minor kinks to work out, but those are too be expected anywhere. I'm very impressed so far.

Pros

A decent group of coworkers that you can talk with about the miserable environment.

Cons

3,000 emails a day. Nonstop unrealistic demands that you couldn't even attempt to accomplish because you have to be on to many demotivating conference calls. So over managed it's counterproductive.

Pros

If you live up in Northwest GA or Dallas, TX this is a pretty good place to work if you're looking for a Corporate jobs. If you live in Atlanta the drive is killer and the pay is not competitive to city jobs. Benefits are competitive for Manufacturing Environment but not competitive for Corporate jobs. Onsite clinics a plus, but they use them beat you over the head about your health. If you're fat/unhealthy and don't show progress you're going to pay extra for benefits. Cost continually rises.

Cons

Company leadership can't communicate to employees. PTO is horrible because it's tied to the Manufacturing environment so you have to negotiate at hire. Only 7 paid Holidays because it's tied to the Manufacturing environment. They are paternalistic. They don't trust their employees to do much for themselves. For the hourly population you really should think about unionizing. If you knew the lengths the company goes to squash your rights to organize, then you'd be very upset. Mohawk needs a union to force change. Hourly work is tough hard work and you're only paid similar to Shaw.
