Pros

For an IT company it's a good group of people who like to have fun. Holiday parties, office pot-lucks, fun customer appreciation events, etc. High integrity when it comes to services offered to clients. Pay was good, however the newer, younger office support staff are being brought in for much lower salaries than were previously being paid. Flexibility with hours if need to work around doctor appts, etc.

Cons

LOTS of turn over while I was there. The company has less than 100 employees and in less than 2 years I saw at least 18 people leave and about 20 new people start. Hire many fresh out of college support staff who take longer to be trained. Engineers, Sales and Marketing don't communicate well with each other. Not much growth opportunity other than making within your own job title.

Pros

Tympani is only ten years old, and yet is one of the top IT Consulting firms in the Chicagoland area. The company is still small, but is quickly growing, so there is a lot of room to help form Tympani into your ideal organization. Pros: Pay is excellent Everyone has a say Excellent people Value their employees and it shows

Cons

Cons: Paid monthly located in Downers Grove

Pros

-Great work environment (laid back, friendly coworkers) -Approachable management, can ask anything and someone will help you without hesitation -Plenty of room for growth

Cons

-Paid once a month instead of bi-weekly -Long interview process -This is a very fast growing company, which is great for opportunities to grow your career and job security. However, there is a lot to learn and you need to be able to keep up. Be prepared to keep up or consider looking elsewhere for employment. A lot of training is involved.
