Pros

I wish I could say something positive, but the level of sketchiness definitely makes any positives just not even worth a mention.

Cons

Given very convoluted information on payroll and procedures, pay schedule is every 3 weeks, first paycheck needs to be emailed and then after that we will be granted access to the ADP system. The I-9 verification system was also very sketchy. Hopefully they pay us.

Pros

Some of the co-workers are friendly, also they pay on time.

Cons

Is concerning how a company like Mindlance can still be in business. Legally, temporary workers should be hired as full time after 1 year and 8 months, but Mindlance has found a loophole to keep temp workers for years. I have seen people working as a temp for 4 years without ever being offered a full time position. To start, they will low-ball their employee. The amount paid to the contractors will be close to minimum wage without taking in consideration the living expenses on the area. They will pay different rates to the people doing the same job, independently of seniority. Also their contract forbids employees to discuss wage to each other. There has been some instances of management firing a whole team and hiring a new one the following week with a 60% decrease on pay. Because of their policy of "at will" employment, independently of seniority, the contractor will not have any stability, making it an extremely stressful place to work, also their health plan is useless and you might owe money in taxes by the end of the year. As a outsourcing company, their main goal is to fulfill the needs of the client, they do not care for the employee and will ignore problems coming to HR. There has been one instance of management trowing a shoe at a employee for not paying attention. There has been cases of verbal abuse and racial profiling on employees. Management has allowed verbal abuse from lower management to employees and employee to employee.

Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts about your employment experience. I'm glad that we have been able to provide employment for you thus far and would be more than happy to continue this conversation directly with you. Our workers are classified as employees of Mindlance and continued employment, much like any employer, is determined by a variety of factors. I do find that most businesses follow the same practice regarding "At Will Employment". The philosophy is that this allows both the Employee and the Employer to determine if a continued relationship meets individual circumstances. Lastly, for any work place situations that are hostile or racial, we always request this to be escalated so it can be investigated to ensure the safety of our employees. If you would like to start this process, please reach out to me. Athena Rodriguez | HR - San Diego Office | (858) 433-9298 x307

Pros

If you're about to go homeless on the street by all means do what you have to do and work here.

Cons

Most unethical and lying company owners and directors that just continue to lie to all their employees and make them feel worthless. They lie about compensation they lie about commission they lie about promotions to everybody across the board which is why at least 20 - 30 people have resigned within the last year. They also don't know how to conduct business with other clients the right way which is why they continue to fail miserably when they are required a new client because they don't know how to manage them and just throw people to try and figure them out. They seem to give more attention to their offshore employees that get paid almost nothing. Tis the old saying goes you get what you pay for and you reap what you sow.
