Pros

They are an international company with offices globally.

Cons

I have worked for other recruiters and Michael Bailey Associates is the worst company I have ever worked for. Cow boy recruitment, do not pay employees commission and do not pay contractors. Rip off clients. senior management is like an old boys club.

Pros

The office is based in Shoreditch.

Cons

Where do I start.. Firstly I don't know how Mike Garlic sleeps at night, he is by the far the most ruthless, money hungry person I have ever worked for. He does not care about his employees at all, the way Michael Bailey behaved during Covid-19 was nothing short of disgraceful. They refused to let employees work from home until we were in lock-down and then forced us all back to the office when the government said that only key-workers and construction could go back. They had no compassion for people that lived with older parents or people that were nervous about travelling on the underground. It was actually distressing, so many people left because of this. The turnover at Michael Bailey is ridiculous, if you last three months you have done extremely well! No flexibility! Don't even bother asking to work from home, MBA do not trust anyone to work from home, this will never be allowed, there is no flexibility what so ever.. even when there's a global pandemic. MBA do not invest in their staff, old grotty offices, old systems, old computers etc. Staff that are performing well aren't even rewarded for it. Also commission is either not paid properly or not paid on time.
