      Some departments offer the ability to work remotely

      Despite numerous culture and employee engagement surveys, MiWays leadership fails to listen to their unhappy staff. Take this extract from an email written by the CEO:"I want to make sure that you all understand that I am certainly NOT pleased with a 72% response rate!". This relates to a Culture survey which employees were asked to participate in. Its not required, yet we get told off like naughty schoolchildren for not achieving 100%.perhaps this says something about your company's culture.

      Pros

      Recently, some flexibility was implemented, like working different hours or working from home on some days.

      Cons

      A fear-based workplace, in my opinion: people of all levels are too scared to tell the truth about why they are unhappy, even after they have resigned. Great people working there, but the tone set by Management does not promote what the company's values aim to achieve.

      Pros

      The company has issues, like any company, but your freedom as an employee empowers you to be able to speak up. The goal of the company is to try and compete with all the cool-kids country and world wide, so it is open to change and improve; especially when it comes to the employees. The CEO has an open-door policy and anyone can request to see him.

      Cons

      The leadership of the company may want to adapt and 'do the right thing', but their values and approaches do not facilitate what is needed to 'do the right thing'. This conflict does seem to make things happen slower than it should and hamper the company's potential to fully bloom.
