Cons
Merrill Lynch has a sink or swim mentality. They boast the best training program in the business, yet the PMD coaches aren't incented to help you. It is hard to find a good mentor in the local offices when time is money and nobody wants to help you succeed unless you split the business of a sale with them, including your boss (if they are in a producing role). Success rate is low, turn over is high and when you are in training they treat you like you are nothing.
