Pros

There ARE no PROS to working with such a disgraceful company. The VP is so condescending and arrogant she needs to retire already. The put all the employees against each other as if they were in the Hunger Games. I wouldn't recommend this company not even to my worst enemy. They are lucky to even get 1 star, that's because I had to select one!

Cons

EVERYTHING! They talk about people behind their backs, they interview you and never tell you if you have the job or not, but you find out when they secretly hire someone and its their 1st day on the job. So unprofessional!!!

Pros

They do provide a paycheck, and in this economy it that is a plus. However if you have an alternative to working for Merrill Gardens you should take it.

Cons

Upper management is populated with mean spirited sociopaths. The corporate culture is disgusting. Promotions are based on nepotism,The company is busy cutting staff hours and services to residents in an attempt meet unrealistic financial projections.

Pros

These are beautiful facilities with lovely residents. From a visual standpoint, the atmosphere is comfortable and inviting,

Cons

Though the mission statement eludes to a balanced work to life balance, this is erroneous at best. Staffers are overworked and certain departments are given universal workers to execute very important duties to perform that they are not qualified for. This makes everyone's job harder. Trying to communicate you needs with an individual that doesn't understand the nature of the field or the common directives accompanying them, makes the job incredibly time-consuming and frustrating,
