Pros

Pay was average to OK, could leave early on Friday, 401 K benefits (if you could stay the full term to collect 100%, this was difficult in the atmosphere)

Cons

Very flat organization, no room for advancement. management is a JOKE. Good ole boy . Manufacturing side not work well with admin side and vs versa. Manufacturing side harasses workers, especially so called floor supervisor. Safety issues, don't even think about working if you value your fingers. CEO get a brand new Mercedes each year and has not problem parking in the handicapped spot so he can get the best access. Had many issues with products that should have resulted in recalls, but management would not step up, but would cover up. Culture and values???? Non existent CEO is so arrogant, and egotistical as are other in chain of command

Pros

You get your own work van. Some of your fellow employees will be nice to work with. The pay and benefits are pretty good.

Cons

They use a dispatcher to dole out jobs. They have an expectation that you are available to work from 5 am to 11 pm and you are not supposed to question it. You will not know what you have scheduled for the next day until after 4:30 pm of day before. you will not be able to plan for any personal time more than 24 hours in advance unless you take vacation. We have nearly constant parts shortages. It is hard to do the work without the parts.... They vacillate between a mantra of "No Overtime!" to having you work 60+ hours a week to catch up for the fact that with no overtime you will fall behind. The number of machines each tech has assigned is too high. Without working overtime you will not be able to keep up. When a tech is fired, on vacation, sick, quits, or otherwise unable to perform their duties, you will be forced to drive long distances to cover for them. They fire a lot of people. I have never worked for a company that fires this many people. (i'd guess ten people in 3+ years) I will probably be fired for writing this. I would consider being fired a blessing. (I could finally find enough time to look for another job)

Pros

Not everyone gets fired. You get a discount on coffee from Melitta. Pay and benefits are pretty good.

Cons

The company has let many people go, either by firing or quitting, but they don't hire replacements. Some they have no plan to rehire, others it takes more than a year and a half to rehire. In the meantime the remaining employees have to pick up the the workload, and when it becomes too much, there is no support from management. The company has no defined leadership. Each department has it own goals and they do not cooperate with each other. We have been experiencing parts shortages for over 8 months, nobody knows why and nobody does anything about it. The technicians are the only producers of money for the company (there is no real sales force) yet are treated poorly. We are forced to work outrageous hours, until they can't take it anymore. Your home life will suffer greatly.
