I am not usually the one to do this but I do think things should be known not for revenge but to speak truth. With that being said, I am not just speaking about Meddy’s. I am speaking on management in todays society. I know we all have our personal issues at home, we hope to seek our job as a safe haven for those hours to get away from our home life. Being trapped in a mundane schedule at times we all would like our job to be somewhat exciting. What we do not expect is what happens deeper into the so called management aspect of our work life. Team work is the essence and the stronghold of any business to be successful. To move as an equal unit towards the same goal. Any team is only as strong as their weakest link. That is up to management to figure out how to lead their team into victory. Management is more than the definition of “dealing with or controlling people.” For those who take the extra mile they are worthy of being called a leader. A person who takes accountability for the lack of their teams effort. Not only that but finding a solution to the lack of. Businesses are losing the focus of how to treat the employees. Richard Branson once said “Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.” Founder of the Virgin group keeping this mentality led him to much success. Why have management if the company is not willing to put their trust in them? Speaking on behalf of myself I was hired as general manager. I felt that in my position I was not given the trust and appreciation I deserved. I would go above and beyond everyday to make sure the business operated smoothly. I sacrificed time with my family but the return was not favorable. Surveillance purposes is for security reasons not to feel like we are being watched and micro managed. I will no longer take a part of this type of behavior. I will not tolerate working for someone that I feel that I work for rather than work with. I hope that when people read this they realize their worth and value themselves as a person and do not feel like they are a slave to their job. I pray everything goes well for the people in these circumstances. I hope when businesses read this They will have a change of heart on how to treat their employees.
