Pros
Plenty to do, never bored, most everyone knows who you are. You aren’t a number, you are treated like family. Paid on time, great benefits, including generous health care options, including dental and vision and matching 401K plan. Lower cost of living. Yearly company picnic including give-a-ways and product raffles. Holiday events for kids and grandkids, like breakfast with Santa at the Holiday Inn.
Cons
Overtime, infrequent cost of living increase for longtime employees. Not much room for advancement, but then again small companies don’t usually have room for vertical movement.
