Cons

Too much office politics, very mean passive aggressive culture Low pay, poor benefits Easy to get stuck, difficult to move anywhere because standard is outdated. Many people have been looking for years but cannot move Little teamwork, no trust No training or mobility Senior management get perks, but other staff very low pay and badly treated Lot of discrimination. If speak Chinese that is bad. if not Chinese that is bad. Cannot win Management does not care about rest of people in company

Pros

In the Group Technology Department, employees receive a Flexi Point allowance of approximately 2.5k, which can be utilized for personal expenditures. I utilized this allowance to purchase an iPhone. Additionally, employees are entitled to 24 days of Annual Leave, distributed at a rate of 2 days per month. Furthermore, my team offers a flexible work arrangement, permitting three days of office work and two days of remote work per week. Healthcare benefits are provided through Etiqa.

Cons

Prior to the organizational restructuring, my former Line Manager exemplified exceptional leadership qualities. However, following the restructuring, the traditional leadership role has been replaced with that of a directive figure, described more aptly as a 'Boss'. This individual frequently assigns ad-hoc projects and tasks, with an expectation for employees to deliver high-quality work promptly, despite the need for adequate time to comprehend the new requirements, given the impromptu nature of these assignments. Furthermore, there is a tendency to micromanage every aspect of our work, down to the hour and specific tasks. It is not uncommon for meetings with this individual to result in reprimands, with at least one person often being the target. There is a notable reluctance to consider input or opinions from others, with a prevailing belief that their approach is the sole correct one within the organization.
