Pros

There are a couple of great people there.

Cons

CEO aside, the management is catty and manipulative. If they don't care for you they will be condescending, belittling, and do everything they can to make you miserable there until you leave. PM is awful, communication is terrible and I am skeptical that the CEO knows whats going on outside of his office. Working here ruined my self esteem and was a horrible decision.

Cons

This place is the definition of a sinking ship. I worked there for some time and was able to see MaxMedia in its hay day - when we actually had clients to speak of and work to do. Now that MaxMedia has changed company direction more than 4 times, they have no real clients to speak of. They have laid almost EVERY SINGLE PERSON OFF that has worked there. Dedicated, loyal employees have been let go and with very little severance at that. They may try to talk a big game about how they've changed and how they're getting more clients, but DO NOT WORK HERE. This company can not be trusted and will likely go under in a matter of months.

Pros

The company culture used to be the biggest pro. That is definitely no longer the case as the company is a skeleton of what is used to be. The benefits were good when the company was doing well. It'd be hard to speak to that now that things have gone so downhill.

Cons

The client base is slim to non-existent which doesn't provide for much (any) job security. At one time, all of the company's eggs were one client's basket and when they were no longer a client, things began to go downhill and never turned around. The business/management decisions that followed progressively got worse and worse and layoff after layoff ensued - during which time all of the current employees consistently felt in the dark about the true state of affairs. All of the talent that made the company valuable are no longer employees there.
