Pros

Great brands you can work with. Your always learning something new and the industry changes a lot so you won’t get bored. Vendors take good care of you Unlimited vacation Cadreon CARES day

Cons

Cadreon might have the worst management you’ll find anywhere. They’ll talk a lot about their culture but they don’t know what good leadership is. Senior and executive management range from a couple of very nice managers and execs who are trying to have a good place to work to a bigger number of management who are checked out or mean spirited and get a lot of pleasure in trying to embarrass people or just ignoring problems and pushing blame to others.Their management has been been promoted, so some of the lower level managers and people have adopted their bad style and are being rewarded. This isn’t just limited to one office or location. It’s across the company. See the reviews here. HR will try to explain this and will respond with they want people to come forward internally but nothing changes when people do. Managers are still here a long time after they have complaints against them. Maybe HR can't make the changes happen or they don’t know how. Cadreon will be more unhappy about a bad Glassdoor review than the bad management that happens. The company doesn't seem to like a lot of it's customers very much. You’ll work so many late nights that it will hurt your relationships and health. But they won’t hire enough people to take care of the workload or their customers unless your on their favorites list. Raises are very small when they happen or when they don’t have a freeze. But there is plenty of money for the execs to have their nice offsite meetings. And forget about the bonuses your recruiter will tell you about. They're so small when they happen. Too many of the really good and smart people all eventually leave. If you just want to work in digital try one of the other companies or don't plan to stay long.

Pros

Good vacation, summer days, good location, nice offices - if the place doesn't bring you down...

Cons

Management has already worked out the answer, your job is to get into line and reflect their thinking. Deviation will result in being sent back to the drawing board and your project remaining in stasis until your plan matches theirs. Constant games of catch out to demonstrate management's superiority. No sense of accomplishment whatsoever. A sign on the wall says "done is better than perfect" - don't fall for the sign. Perfection is expected, and even if you deliver perfection some fault will be found to validate your inferiority. Strong clique primarily formed around a prior place of employment. This clique either hires from prior ranks or steers towards managers who are ruthless types who like to run the place with an iron fist If you're not part of that clique from this prior outfit then you had better be a yes man/woman or be willing to "swagger like us" in preposterous displays of loyalty and ring kissing.. Most figure this out and are gone in a year. Watch the smart people leave the quickest. Management has a superiority complex - over both product management (really vendor management) and engineering. Not a place to feel like you contribute. Management knows best, know your place. Trying to become a technology company but fixated down to minutiae on the application of agile to the point of counter-productivity. Management rigidly applies agile but don't follow the rules themselves. Deviations are heavily criticized - the place is fueled by negativity and criticism.

Pros

Tiny paycheck. Great nepotism for men and whites women. You can get away with murder if you are one of those and suck up.

Cons

This company likes to talk about values while exhibits 0. The most senior person on my team acted like trump and bullied and belittled everyone. There has been dozens of attempts by my team mates to involve HR but inevitably a senior executive would step in and shut down the investigation. Senior leadership loves paying lip service but has never, ever, ever delivered. Don’t kid yourself, this company is here to make money for the 1%, they don’t care about abuse to us as long as they are still making money. Working here has been one of the most deeply humiliating experiences of my life. I debated leaving this review because I am scared of retaliation but honestly, people should know about this. Don’t let yourself become a victim. There are other companies out there that pays better and have HR departments that doesn’t tolerate abuse. If you are in the situation I was in, know that you’re not alone and that you have options. Don’t be scared of change. Get out.
