      Pyramid Sales

      Pros

      Growth opportunity if you can get past the first few phases and build a team, key word in this sentence is IF.

      Cons

      I worked here for about 6 and a half months and left about a month and a half ago. Very cult-like atmosphere and the turnover rate is horrible. All this talk about promotion and growth but very little action. Set up like a multi level pyramid scheme which I was exposed to during the several different meetings we would attend once I was past the entry level. Hard to get quality individuals to be interested because they do not want to stand in Sam's club or drive hours to their assigned store.

      Trease, thank you for your review. The "pyramid scheme" comment is disturbing. We represent only the top corporations (three are in the fortune 10 list). I am 100% confident that the billion dollar corporations did their homework before partnering with us. I am also confident that they wouldn't partner with a "pyramid" company. At no time did we ask you for money. You had a guaranteed base plus we gave you bonuses as you performed above and beyond. We hope you find a company that is better suited. Good luck.

      Pros

      Easy to work your way thorough the ranks. That is, if sales is for you. You CAN succeed! Great morale.

      Cons

      Fast-paced... Minimal actual training. Set up like a pyramid scheme. Where optimal income only comes after you have a team.

      Pros

      If you are good at sales you may like this job. You can advance but you have to be good at selecting and training new talent.

      Cons

      Most of this job is commission with a very low base pay so you don't know what you will make. You must be willing to relocate to ensure promotion potential. No benefits.

      Thank you for your review. We are concerned that you call our channel of marketing a "sales scheme". We offer a guarantee base (which is higher than the national average) plus a bonus structure (which is higher than the national average). Because we are expanding and we only promote from within, our goal is to mentor each individual on every level of the company and give them a "hands-on" approach. Some individuals choose to stay at front-line sales whereas most chose to advance. We are only looking for quality individuals who wish to advance within the company and eventually run an office and division. We hope you find a company that is a better fit for yourself and your talents.
