Pros

The work itself is not difficult, new office space, free parking, good location.

Cons

There are way too many managers and directors and the majority of them either don't care or have little to no insight into what their subordinates actually do, the knowledge they already possess, and what their concerns and priorities are.

Pros

Some amazingly brilliant and talented people (unfortunately, they all leave quickly) Free soda Lots of social events (breakfasts, picnic, lunches, etc)

Cons

Turnover is at 42% for 2017 All the social events are to engage people, so leadership knows it has a problem, but they can't solve it with fluff Inept executive team who are hopelessly out of touch with workforce Benefits not competitive Biggest key- 56 managers for 200 employees. Even though it's a training company, there is zero training for employees

A once great company that has lost its way

Pros

There are a handful of bright, energetic, and committed employees at Management Concepts who work very hard. The mission could be meaningful and the potential to really help the students is very high.

Cons

At one point in its history Managment Concepts was the leader in training and education for the Federal government, but somewhere along the way the company stopped encouraging and rewarding innovation and now fails to appropriately recognize and reward the people who drive the business. This has led the company to be a firmly mediocre company that struggles to retain high performing staff. There is shockingly little accountability at the highest levels of management and a counter productive focus on cost cutting and revenue growth.
