Pros

- Good Pay - Good Benefits

Cons

- Lack of training the moment I got there, 99.9% of the time I had to figure things out myself. - I noticed off the bat there is not much diversity of people of "colour", so if you want to work in diversity this place isn't it. - ICAT really sucks, be expected to wait 2 days to get back to you. Something is always wrong with the "system" - Management is not that great always telling me to "figure things out myself" - Everyone in the hospital looks angry, very toxic hospital environment. No one is ever friendly. All together stay away from this place because there is no support, extreme lack of training, no diversity(look down upon) and ICAT is not at a level compare to other organizations.

Pros

- OK pay & great benefits - Close to home

Cons

- Lacks transparency - No job security unless unionized - people have been let go , usually abruptly with immediate effect. - Unsupportive environment and terrible work culture - No support from management and mgmt lacks integrity - Does not provide proper training. Expect to learn on your own and will most likely be fired if you cant pick up on your own. - Dysfunctional & unorganized IT department called ICAT - No opportunity for growth in some dept - Useless HR only there to hire & fire at managers will - Management only looks after their own self interest and do not value employees. -No accountability from management -they will terminate without warning and make you feel like you were at fault. Word of advice: If you get an unscheduled phone call from your manager to meet with them, do yourself a favour and clear your desk, pack your bags and bring your belongings when you go to see them. Chances are that you will be invited to their office with HR there to hand you your termination letter.

Pros

- Great pay - Opening new hospital - Heavy investments in innovation

Cons

- Toxic work environment - People are overworked - Despite investments in innovation, overall organization has archaic procedures and is behind the times on many developments - First hospital I’ve ever heard of that has problems with recruitment - Bad HR Department
