Pros

The only pros I found with is job is going home at the end of the day and free parking

Cons

There are plenty of cons for the store I worked for(stoke) The mangment contradicts them selfs 24/7 then complains you are doing somthing wrong either though he just did it 5 minutes ago. Every time they get a new member of staff they do stay because they get paid minimum wage and have put up with in your ear all day also he can not train a member of stuff at all if you can't keep up with him he doesn't want to know you. But enough about the management I could go all day you do a 9 hour shift and only get 30 minutes break they could at least give you 45 there is not staff room so there is just 1 broke seat that you can't sit on because the back is broke and you will just be making brews all day

Pros

The work is not difficult and the majority of the staff are pleasant and down to earth.

Cons

No store closures, reduced hours or working from home during coronavirus, berated by management for escalating complaints in writing (intimidation), offered a cardboard barrier to protect against coronavirus while everyone else got perspex, zero acknowledgment of global civil rights movement (Including not checking on the few BAME staff's wellbeing), terrible money, inconsistent rule enforcement, no chance or possobility of progression (one colleague has been there 22 years in stock control yet they tried to promote someone with less than a year in accounts to stock control supervisor, no appreciation of loyalty/longevity), unnecessary extended work day (6pm finish for most staff) due to business inefficiency, no christmas party or bonus, back office staff expected to work until 4pm Christmas Eve, outdated technology and processes, many staff openly complain about management and work in the office which creates an unpleasant work environment, blatant tranaphobia towards a colleague tolerated and not investigated, bullying behaviour tolerated
