Pros

New CEO. 'Integration' (basically a merger) with Publicis World Wide now....we all hope it will absorb MSL soon.

Cons

I have never seen a business care less about it's employees than MSLGROUP. No career paths, A total freeze (but they call it a 'delay'.) on raises and promotions. Managers who have NO idea how much you contribute to success....they treat everyone like they are not important (with the exception of 1 or 2 strategy people who have lied and fooled people so badly they get preferred treatment. Even though they do not generate any revenue)...and they don't care AT ALL when people resign. Even if clients leave over it. They can't hire people at all....positions open for 6-7 months and more. Of course anyone going to work here now is foolish. So many great people have left because they are old fashioned and backwards (telecommuting is no longer allowed.) but they claim to be 'digital centric' and 'forward thinking'...it's a joke. Salaries are very misaligned....and some people in the same role are 50% higher salary (and yes we all know). Leaders pit senior people against each other - and refuse to clarify roles. It's like a gladiator pit- they just let people duke it out to see who kills each other first. There is no money- like none, and every expense- no matter how small is scrutinized by the CFO and finance people. Who should have more important things to do. I heard he does it even with the SVPs. Either trust your employees or fire them. Period.

Pros

The primary pros for working at MSL include the compensation, vacation benefits and a nice office space. Unfortunately, you need to be at the Senior Account Supervisor level to receive a good salary/benefits package.

Cons

Overall MSL has an extremely poor leadership team (or lack of a leadership team), extremely long hours with little to no work/life balance, it does not offer a collaborative environment and overall has a bad/depressing culture. The turnover rate is EXTREMELY high. I was one of the longest people that stayed there and only did b/c of compensation.
