Pros

Compensation is not as bad as some make out. Frankly there is downward pressure in the industry and companes are cutting each others throats to win business. Don't believe managment is intentionally poor its just that the entire company are ex US Army officers with no business experience other than at this company. Blind leading the blind when it comes to management.

Cons

this is a truly poorly run company that has outgrown its infrastrucure. frankly see this outfit in a downward spiral. If you aren't a ex general officer forget any advancement potential. Frankly the generals don't advance either pretty much you come in stay where you are collect your check until they fire you or you get fed up and leave. No systems in place, procedures, training advancement, leadership. Pretty frustrating place to work if you want to be part of a successful team pulling together with a common goal. People serving the customers are pretty good but the mismanagment is hard to take..

MPRI - not Employee focused

Pros

Opportunity to live/work in the UK. Contract runs to Sept 2014. A high percentage of the staff are strong performers, self-motivated and want to be here.

Cons

Minimal communication between management and staff. Salary increases are based on current income, not performance feedback from the government customer. 23 months between salary adjustments, then 1.56% was the stated average increase per employee. No company provided incentives. The company cut benefits and massively underbid to win the re-compete; no decent salary increases projected for the next 4 years. The real talent will likely move on and be replaced by lesser qualified (and even lower paid) employees. Employee morale will continue to plummet.
