Pros

Work experience, if you can last longer than a few months, would be the only pro - this place should only be used as a stepping stone for the desperate. Otherwise, keep looking.

Cons

Mismanagement through and through. At one point, things looked very promising years ago, only to realize it was a farce. Upward trajectory turned into a nose dive. Worked my tail off for close to 3 years under a manager who is the perfect example of the lack of leadership qualities successful companies demand from their employees. They demand the exact opposite for management positions. The disconnect between the executive team and the rest of us was so evident it's almost like it's by design. Why? That's what everyone who has left over the years could never figure out. They just have no idea what they're doing operationally and simply don't care as evident by the years of negative posts on this site and extremely high turnover. The people put in place to "manage" are nothing more than complacent, status quo, do-nothings - sociologists would refer to this as the "peter principle" (google it). I personally worked along side the executive team and found them to be very pleasant and intelligent, but unfortunately they lack any semblance of understanding in how to build a coherence work force - as evident with whom they promote which is a direct reflection of who they are as business people; fakes. All it would take is for someone with REAL business experience to take the helm and this place might have had a shot - but we know that's not happening. So, If you're completely desperate, come aboard, otherwise keep looking!

MD2U Response

At MD2U, we welcome constructive criticism that can help our practice grow and thrive – but we know not all reviewers are able to offer instructive comments. It would seem in this instance that the reviewer’s personal conflict with company managers ultimately resulted in his/her departure. And while we regret that this former employee had such a negative experience at MD2U, we nevertheless wish him or her the best in the future, and we hope that he/she finds a workplace that meets his/her personal needs.

Pros

As an employee you are offered a free gym membership to an incredibly nice facility (with a pool, free classes, and free childcare during workouts), healthcare benefits, the option to work from home, opportunities to grow within the company, leaving work each day knowing you’ve made a positive impact on the communities we serve, great coworkers, and an Executive Team who truly listens to their employees. I have been with the company for several years and have seen the numerous changes that have occurred all in the hopes of bettering outcomes for not only the patients we serve, but for employees.

Cons

MD2U is a fast-paced environment. As an employee at MD2U you are responsible for providing outstanding care and customer service. This can be a challenge for some, especially if you do not like communicating via phone or meeting deadlines. All positions at MD2U are vital in providing care for homebound/home-limited patients. Employees are held to a certain standard to ensure all necessary measures are taken to provide the best care for patients. Like any job in the healthcare field, it can be tough at times but it’s incredibly rewarding to leave the office each day knowing you have made a difference.
