The CEO's approach to management was causing widespread anxiety among the employees. Instead of providing motivation and inspiration to help them reach their full potential, the CEO's approach was one of stress and pressure. This was due in large part to the CEO's constant monitoring and micromanagement.

Travel is required, which isn't necessarily a con for me, but could be for some.

The pay could be better

This company does not do yearly pay raises, you can never get a raise unless you get a position change. There are a lot of empty words used, they will tell you one thing but never follow up on it or keep rescheduling until you forget if you attwmpt to follow up. Nothing is done immediately, it takes weeks or longer to get responses or follow ups. The work environment is on and off with being a hostile environment with supervisors demanding changes or results with no reasoning or information provided as to why. Higher ups never check on their employees just below them, thus allowing things to get out of hand leading to issues. Wages are all around a major issue, pay is below average and in no way competitive.

There is not current ladder for promotions Still in development stages, where company is expanding which is good but there isn't strong growth opportunities readily available yet

pay is little low to start

1. Toxic work environment where work smarter not harder is actively discouraged by management. 2. Most departments of the company don't have clear guidelines or any guidelines for raises/career growth. 3. Raises are unheard of unless you have personal relationships with management. There have been two notable instances where individuals were hired without meeting minimum requirements and then promoted to a management position that were not publicly disclosed and didn't previously exist. 4. No merit raises. 5. No inflation adjustment. 6. Year over year raises cannot exceed 7% with an upper ceiling if you've been working for the company for several years. 7. Raises in 2021 and 2022 were 3-4 months late. 8. Non-competitive wages averaging $24 an hour. Adjacent roles for other companies average $30-$35 an hour. 9. Remote employees are not reimbursed for internet usage. 10. Medical benefits are basically negligible for a $200 a month and only hurt underpaid employees. 11. HR is outsourced and have incorrectly reported income-tax to egregious amounts. 12. Computer equipment is oftentimes under-powered resulting in overall slowness when completing day to day tasks.

Employees were blantly neglected by the owner and the management with their lack of support. While managers PLAGUE employees with demands and more work, our cries and complaints were never heard and awfully ignored!
