Pros

Nice office Great compensation Good teams

Cons

New CEO Russel Bundshuh is very regressive. Within his first month: -eliminated all casual dress in office and for remote employees -forcing cameras on during all meetings -forcing employees into the office without a business need -all people of color were removed from board and executive roles save 1

Pros

- Great office in the Pearl (until you're relocated to Dallas) - Competitive benefits (for the industry)

Cons

Long-term executive churn has the company in complete paralysis. In 10 years I worked under 3 CEOS, 6 Broker/Dealer Presidents, and 10 CCOs (some interim). Projects take 5-8 years to execute, if they get approved at all, in large part due to constantly shifting strategies and new executives eager to change directions to satisfy their own egos. At times M shifted to being a functioning company, but the current leadership has M stuck in the mud with broken axles and no hope. The company ceased all employee surveys, mention of bringing them back has been mocked. Maybe they fear the results due to bottom morale combined with extreme disdain between executives and staff. The air in the office is thick with despair. Teams perviously collaborated together to creatively solve problems. Now, everyone is fearful that engaging in a project opens the door to being thrown under the bus if something goes wrong. Inaction and passing the buck has become safer than trying to solution. I do not blame the people - they've been trained to keep their head down. - Significant pressure to work overtime to cover understaffing. - Executive leaders are eager to criticize, quick to blame, and have no interest in understanding root causes. They're just as quick to accept all credit for success. - There is little ability to advocate or inform the organization of business needs, risk, and opportunities without being patronized or gaslit. - There is a belief that anyone present in the organization prior to an executive being hired is to blame for all organizational failures, despite most of us spending years advocating for solutions that have been continually ignored. - The Executive Team is actively trying to find ways to enforce their authority and be punitive against staff. There are so many strings being attached to the annual bonus it's become clear their preference is to remove it all together.

Unbelievably Horrible Experience

Pros

Free parking, great location, nice building

Cons

Honestly not even sure where to begin. I have never worked in such a toxic environment before, and I am still managing the after shocks of working for this company. Upper leadership does not value their employees - choosing to ignore ideas, reason, complaints, and their insanely high turnover rates. I was regularly told that this was "not how they used to do thing," but with the new CEO and illogical re-orgs, employees were treated horribly and the culture is toxic.
