      Poor management, dirt cheap pay, extremely push boss yet no future company

      Friendly coworkers, I guess it's so hard to meet the 20 word minimum so I have to write some nonsense

      Too much cons! Be sure you read all the reviews before you decide if you are that desperate to get a job, I have to point out there are some positive reviews are actually faked by HR. They even encourage us to write positive reviews in the office...they've tried hard to make the negative reviews stay in the bottom that people can not see, so you need to distinguish real ones and fake ones. Anyway, I will just point out the worst, and intolerable culture of the company. 1. Arrogant and not so smart COO, as some reviews mentioned, she shows no respect to employees, she hires professionals not to do their job correctly, but to smother them-micro manage them to death, a lot of her ideas are just dead end, but you have to follow her lead or go away. When things go south, guess who to blame? Turn over is really high here, that's a signal of poor management 2. They claim they give competitive salary, truth is specifically compared to the same level cheap Chinese company, and the commission system sucks, sales depends on the commission to live since we have a low base pay. Guess what? They are making unrealistic sales target that no one can get the commission that matches the efforts-especially on peak season, we have to work overtime without compensation. 3. COO just like to feel important by having a lot of meetings, most of them are just talking and wasting everyone's time

We also provide opportunities as we have many internal promotions and overseas relocation for employees who have shown their capability. We are sorry to hear that you felt that the pressure was too high and you were unable to handle. Travel industry is a fast moving industry and we believe in providing the high customer service to our customers, thus we provide training to all sales staff before they start to face our customers. We are a US company and our salaries and bonus scheme are competitive as our competitors based in Silicon Valley. Our salary benchmarking process are done through the fact figures provided by our external salary survey companies based on the location and the position.       Bad Management/ Worst bonus/No company culture

      Pros

      They give out free food once in a while, okay more like snacks. Well most of them come from other companies that try to persuade us to sell their products

      Cons

      They have the worst commission system, with an unusual out of the world target and when you happen to hit that target they increase it the next month so that they don't have to pay their sales any bonus. Really, targets are set already and when they want to save money they decide to change it, anytime they want. They also decided to change our salary without notification. They are lucky I didn't sued them

Fake bad reviews for Lulutrip will make readers feel that they are left purposely by our competitors and we believe readers are smart enough to define how real your review is. We are surprised to see that you have worked with Lulutrip for more than 8 years as we are a 9 year old company and for the first 2 years, we only have 2 employees on our payroll and they are our founders. As you mentioned, our office is based in US and we are a law abiding company, thus no changes in salaries or bonus scheme can be changed without employees consent. We are a US company and our salaries and bonus scheme are competitive as our competitors based in Silicon Valley. Our salary benchmarking process are done through the fact figures provided by our external salary survey companies based on the location and the position. One of our many benefits includes fresh fruits and snacks purchased by our company. If we receive any suppliers gifts, we often share with our employees as we believe that everyone has worked very hard at Lulutrip and all gifts received by the company should be shared with our hardworking team who we value very much.       Poor management and no respect to employees

      Pros

      The colleagues there were friendly and hardworking--however, they would be better off if they could have more professional leaders. The working environment was acceptable. The location of the company is good--very near to silicon valley.

      Cons

      POOR management. The COO of this company had no professional training in management. POOR judgement. No business vision, they only trust, and like bootlickers. Selfish bosses. Too much emphasis on the bosses personal benefits. No respect to employees. They were very mean to employees, no respect at all. Low pay. Without any respect to employees, low salary is totally unacceptable.
