Pros

Great Benefits which included free oyster card for employees allowing travel across all London public transport. Very helpful staff and trainers who want to get you to the level you should be at.

Cons

Travelling to various locations across London for training can be difficult at times when you live far away especially as its in a completely different area from where you applied to work. Very intense workload.

Pros

There are many pros. Very reputable company with great customer satisfaction. Free TFL travel with staff pass. Rail Pension scheme. PRV card to get discount on rail travel. Excellent pay and 1 and 3/4 pay on sundays.

Cons

Railway industry therefore a lot of backbiting even amongst men. The colleagues will try their best to push you out so they can get overtime as everybody fights for work on Sundays as it is nearly double pay. A lot of unnecessary gossip and stirring. Management only cares about KPI and does not make time for you for anything. Gateline is difficult when standing all day. Old employees bully the new employees and are very two faced. Can feel lonely when the old employees are bullying you and you have no one to turn to. No support when dealing with aggressive passengers or disruptions. You are dealt to deal with it on your own with station full of stranded passengers. Control never gives you updates on disruption so passengers are shouting at you asking why you don't know when the next train is. Can be extremely difficult place to work as there is no support from managers, and old employees are bullying you and you have to deal with angry passengers on your own without any information on whats happening. Staff only stick with it for the money.

Pros

Good benefits such as free travel in London and discounted rail in Europe after a year. Decent annual leave. Room to learn a lot and also explore other departments within the business.

Cons

Pay does not reflect the level of responsibility, mid-senior level responsibility for entry-level pay. When returning from annual leave you come back to a lot of work, that wasn't done well in your absence and you never truly switch off whilst off. Training was lacklustre and took months before you truly understand systems.
