Pros

Was able to work from home and worked with some great people.

Cons

First off, this company and their leadership/c suite team exudes fake behavior. At least of handful of “5 star” reviews were posted on January 10th 2024, which seems super unrealistic and makes me think leadership is posting them trying go raise up their review score. Honestly LP doesn’t even deserve 3 stars. For as long as I have worked here I’ve seen so many changes that turned out to be more negative than positive to the employees (despite what c suite says). Secondly, people are seriously over worked and extremely underpaid, in all departments. Grabbing the low hanging fruit business model is not going to be sustainable and keep the company a float. LP has nothing unique to offer. Their “full transparency” aspect of the business gets taken advantage of by clients which results in clients leaving when everything in their advertising accounts are setup and they take it in-house to save money. And in turn, all the people doing the work get screwed. And lastly, I don’t trust that the people in c suite or senior leadership are making the right decisions and are ever going change LP for the better. The segment with the CEO during the all hands meeting should’ve been a big red flag to many. They relied on that Google incentive program too much.

Toxic and Abusive Environment

Pros

You can be overworked, but at least stay at home while doing so.

Cons

I don’t have the energy to write everything that happened to me while working here. Plus if I wrote it in detail I’m sure management would threaten me. That’s their go to. At the end of the day this company is one of the most toxic and abusive tech companies I have ever experienced in my career. You are considered a number. You are expected to work like a robot and hold your weight all the time no matter what. You are given an unreasonable book size and promised promotions to keep you going. In reality every year the bonuses will change so 99% of the employees will make less or have to work to an unreasonable degree to make ends meet. There is no inflation pay, so in two years time your salary for the amount of work is a joke. They create algorithms for bonuses that are impossible to achieve because the types of businesses they let in will automatically quit and you will be punished for it. The amount of blatant lies, abuses of power, and illegal actions I have experienced from upper management alone is ridiculous. Everyone I know that has worked at LP or still does has a story. Please if you care at all about your sanity find somewhere else to work.

Pros

You work with a wonderful, smart, and supportive cast of characters from completely different backgrounds. Logical Position is also a great place to learn and get your foot in the door.

Cons

Logical Position doesn't have any money to give its employees raises. They do have money, though, to give people in near to upper management gigantic promotions. There's also money to hire new employees, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at face value. This situation is all the more troublesome when the company has been incorporating AI into its content workflows with the message that it will improve our lives and growth opportunities. What Logical Position seemingly means to say with this double speak is that it will improve the company's life and the company's growth opportunities—not yours. If you're new to SEO and don't know where to start or are nervous about starting, start here. You'll learn a lot. It's nice in that way. Get your foot in the door. Learn from all these brilliant minds. Then go get more money somewhere else. You deserve it. You really do. Don't wait around. They have a history of promising things and never delivering. It isn't just raises. So keep that in mind too. Go in with the expectation that you're going to learn, make new friends and industry connections, and then find work elsewhere. Everyone keeps talking about how great the culture is in these reviews. It's really only half true. Compensation is part of company culture. If you want to show your employees you care about them, pay them. Free food every Wednesday doesn't pay our increasing rent and grocery prices.
