      Disorganized, Incompetent RUN AWAY!

      Pros

      This company is so averse to constructive feedback and improvement you can do a bad job for years and get amazing performance reviews. You don't have to worry about building code that works under load or is secure. As long as you drink the cool aid and praise everyone for their "amazing" work.

      Cons

      HUGE backlogs of bugs and tech debt that will never be fixed. Out of touch management who know nothing about the platform. Product roadmaps change on the drop of a hat from upper level management. Constant outages and fire drills due to years of neglected infrastructure and applications. Association with toxic pornography / adult content that comprises most of the Second Life service.

      Massive layoffs, but got rid of the wrong people

      Pros

      - Some of the people I worked with were smart, passionate and really wanted to create something amazing. - Product is interesting - Work/life balance is good (no one really works that hard - which can be a bad thing)

      Cons

      - Leadership has no vision and don't have the skills to run something as ambitious as Sansar - HR is never around, non existent - The same old people have been there for the longest time - Keep hiring the wrong people and putting the wrong people in positions of power
