Good for a foot in the door, but overall very uninspiring experience so far.
Pros
*Puts money in your pockets *Foot into the working world especially when you're fresh from uni *You meet some nice people in there *Lots of heritage about the company and the product is very good *You get nice cars for business trips away. *You get expenses covered on business trips away.
Cons
*LACK of diversity - One thing that hits you is, it's not a very diverse company and not many young people too. That needs to be changed urgently. *Very old school - A lot of the senior management in some of the NNCs have been there for years I am talking since the 70s/80s and a lot of them show a lack of wanting to change or even innovate. *Unorganised Graduate programme - The graduate programme is very uninspiring to be honest it needs to change, it is very unorganised and a lot of the time feels like glorified admin work the stuff people don't want to deal with they throw on the young person in the office. The first day I arrived I had people straight-face telling me they were not expecting me, how are people not aware of their "graduate" programme. Shocking to be quite frank. Last but not least if you're a young person out of uni don't be put off I'd say join but only use this as foot in the door once you've bagged decent experience find something else.
