Pros
My direct manager and team member were great
Cons
The culture at Lignetics is one of blame and disrespect, which stems from the CEO. The CEO refuses to accept anything he doesn’t understand, even if his data and story is no longer true based on data, insights, and trends. If you present data or a strategy that does not tell the story the CEO “is comfortable telling”, regardless of the data, you are written off as stupid and told you aren’t doing your job. This behavior and mindset trickles down to how everyone else treats each other. The company places more value on people who try to bully their coworkers into their way of thinking over people who are supposedly brought in to help the company grow. They discount the knowledge, job experience, and data that contradict what they think is right. Any attempts to improve the working relationship is met with “you prove to me that you are smart by adopting my way thinking and working” rather than attempting to listen and learn from one another. The leadership team doesn’t care about what employees think, all feedback that is seen as negative against the leadership team is ignored. Lignetics is only a good place to work if you’re part of the CEO’s “old boys club” and will follow him blindly despite business or market trends. It’s a very mismanaged company with no strategic direction and is unwilling to commit to building its brands.
