      Denies work from home, otherwise, good people

      Pros

      Good team environment, pay, benefits and much more. Customer service is a priority.

      Cons

      My position was offered as work from home. I worked for several years in office as they made excuses, when a medical concern forced me to stay home I was threatened with termination. I was denied the ability to use the assigned work from home laptop they provided me Trained me on another position then kept me in my current one.

      It was a bit toxic

      There were some great people who worked for the CU

      It was very toxic because of a constant turn around and no help from management

      A lot of turnover and change

      Pros

      Local; nice people work in the branches; most people care about their work and do their best to provide good service.

      Cons

      C-level management is not the least bit focused on Member return on investment. They seem to be only interested in making themselves appear important. NECU does not provide value to Members and management does not seem interested in doing so. They spend a lot on PR and "image" but it is all smoke & mirrors. The Board of Directors has shirked their responsibility to Members and employees.
