Pros

It's a job mentality. Management here doesn't care about the job you do as long as they are making money. They do have a gym for employees which is excellent, it is very expensive, but employee's get to join for half price which makes it reasonable.

Cons

quality is very spotty. Some people do good work, other are pretty poor.

Pros

You can work remote but even that is a con.

Cons

Seriously, run away from this place. Especially if you are new in IT and are looking for experience, this place will waste your time and will suck the life out of you! The employees here are some of the nastiest and rudest people I have ever encountered in my life, and I used to work in retail. Everyone treats the service desk employees like they are “the help” and not their colleague. They hire anybody here, so be prepared to deal with people who do not know how to right-click, turn on caps lock or even know what caps lock is. You work remotely but are extremely micromanaged. Constantly being accused of not working, constant messages about calls holding when we are understaffed all the time!!! Training is nonexistent, they basically show you how to answer calls, create and assign cherwell tickets, that’s it. If you assign a ticket that they feel you could have fixed but never received training on or was not aware, prepare to receive an email berating you to the entire team. They have a wiki that is hardly ever updated. Coworkers have no clue what they are doing and I blame management for the lack of training. Lack of communication from other departments. There could be a system down that they are aware of, so service desk gets slammed, no heads up, no all users emails sent, the network team is notorious for this. If you work a later shift, you are required to go to Carroll for emergencies, instead of the desktop techs. You are also not trained as a desktop tech, so you are expected to rely on a wiki that’s never updated. Benefits are a joke, especially if your doctors are not affiliated with Lifebridge, be prepared to pay outrageous co-pays. Only two options for getting prescriptions, pick them up from a hospital or get them mailed. They claim this is a convenience for employees but they only want to save money. Not so convenient when you work from home, take medications that you need to live and have to wait for the freaking mail because their pharmacists and pharmacy techs are so incompetent that they mixed up your meds 3 times with someone else. Pay is low for the amount of work you have to do; max 5 people taking calls from all the hospitals, vendors, outside providers, former employees, and etc, plus you have work the ticket queue, and check voicemails. They love talking about how they give raises every year but the raises are 3% or less. Can only have 1 person off at a time, so it makes planning time off complicated. I will never work in healthcare again because of my experience here with some of the doctors, nurses and other staff. Management allows everyone to talk down to employees on the service desk and do nothing about it, knowing this they still base our raises on customer survey’s. And to top off all this they are pro-Israel. So after reading this review and you still decide to work here, remember you were warned and godspeed!

Pros

None, absolutely None. I need to reach 15 words and can’t think of one pro.

Cons

Everything: leadership, culture, politics. A toxic work environment that starts from the executive team and trickles down to impact the frontlines.
