Company has been doing very bad financially in the past few years, and has been recently purchased for very little by another startup in the medical field. The new company decided to abruptly terminate any R&D effort. They went from 200 employees to 50 within a year. Most people still working there now are administrative stuff, field support, and upper management. Not sure LENSAR has a future.

No buy in from management for growth. No encouragement to work with other departments to foster a team. No response when bringing up issues. A culture where people who are favored can do no wrong. People being put in management jobs with no training and no responsibility for their own weaknesses.
