Pros

I am not a negative person but unfortunately there are no Pros at this firm. The firm was handed to the current CEO from his father and now thinks he sits on a pedestal and is better than gods gift to earth.

Cons

Legion Paper is a family owned business. You would think both families would be in this together but the exact opposite, like water and oil. The tension and greed that separates them is visible throughout the office. Upper management treats its employees with zero respect. If something needs to be done, it was be yelled across the room with a very disrespectful tone. The HR at the firm is the upper management so there is no where for its employees to inform anyone the problems and harassment that goes on daily! In addition to the constant fear or trying to do my job, the pay and benefits is abysmal. Once you sign your contract salary, don't expect it to be much different after 10 years of loyalty and commitment. I could go on and on but I will stop here and save you the headache, do not work here.

Pros

Amazing niche business - fine art paper. We work with artists, photographers, art supply stores, designers, invitation companies, framers and more. All businesses dealing with creative people. I feel like I’m cared about as a person. Encouraged not to miss family events, big or small. Hybrid work schedule is very flexible. It’s a place where people are encouraged to build out their own career path. The company is interested in people’s personal growth and looks to find a balance between our current roles and our future goals.

Cons

Not for people who need a lot of hand holding. Need to be self motivated and think independently

Nepotism Perfected

Pros

It's a small company with diverse products and customers. Travel opportunities abound worldwide. Nice people who are enjoyable to be around.

Cons

The two families that own the company have perfected the art of nepotism in the upper ranks cutting short the potential for the company as a whole. Ridiculous expensing rules forcing use of personal credit cards and slow repayment. Micromanaging prevents employees from contributing fully. Nice people, not fun to work with.
