Pros
I am ashamed to say I worked there for a few years. You will learn how to take a no and you will work constantly just to get by. I was one of the company's most valued employees for a while.
Cons
I am sorry but this really is a scam. Most of the money the owners make comes from a revolving door of new employees that come in do a few sales to friends and family and people who stick with it for a few weeks at best. Everyone I know who was "successful there" was really not doing well. They will tell you things like "you are your own boss" and all the typical pyramid scam stuff to go along with it. Any new offices that have opened in the past few years have folded within a year or two. They have contests and trips (which are not all that great) to keep people hanging on a bit longer. Also you should know, when the owners go out to sell, they "cherry pick". I would be lying if I didn't say everyone I know that was a rockstar salesperson went out every day and lied to customers and trainees. They try to get young people who are down on their luck who are having trouble getting hired. They boast an all inclusive rock and roll type attitude to keep young people feeling like it is a cool environment but it is just a facade.
