Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Change, especially in response to industry shifts and economic pressures, can be challenging, especially after years of stability. Our goal remains to deliver resources that empower students to use technology thoughtfully and responsibly. We remain committed to an open and inclusive culture. We appreciate your contributions to Learning.com and invite any current or former team member to share candid feedback and ideas. Your perspective helps us keep improving. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
We are appreciated by everyone and we know that we are making a difference. Being small, lots of people know (or know of) others in the company. This builds a great team experience for each discipline that the company needs. Also, it gives the company flexibility to change focus often and re-evaluate goals at the company or team level. Managers and exec's are supportive and care about your growth in your career and having a healthy home life. Work hard and play hard is lived out in the culture. Remote working is supported very well and is equal to being at the office in Portland.
Cons
Being small means that capital is limited, so adding resources may take longer than what is hoped for.
