The overall feeling is that everyone is expendable. No matter if you've been there a year or 43 years. No matter how well you've done your job. On the other hand as soon as you reach management those rules don't apply. You can be ineffective, mean, anything you like and it's ok, you're management.
Direction of the company changes weekly it seems. Newspaper, media company, marketing company, pick a direction and stay with it.
Morale, there isn't any. Many people are actively looking for new employment. Management doesn't understand this and thinks everyone is happy.
