Pros
There are some good people who work there- supportive, professional and mature
Cons
Promotions within the company are rare. If you get one, it's due to politics. Otherwise, management would rather bring in someone new, manipulate them and mold them into the person they want. This leads to high turnover and losing all the truly good people (talent and work ethic). There is no onsite HR. The work environment is full of politics, cliques and employees who get a high off of coming to work and spreading gossip. It truly creates a toxic place. To make things worse, these behaviors are seen from some Directors and Supervisors. I truly hope when Laird is sold and under new ownership, the new Board will be able to see right through these people, and tell who is toxic and who is truly genuine. That place needs some serious restructuring, as it is sinking incredibly fast!
