Pros

- Some exposure to international clients - Opportunities to get involved in pitching exercises - Convenient location

Cons

- Non-stop office politics, which starts from the top of the hierarchy though it's flat - No appreciation for staff's efforts in most tasks - Unreasonable demand of overtime work, such as disregarding the time for news clipping in early morning, requesting employees to respond to clients' emails or messages even during late night - Biased against local employees -- but heavy reliance on them for supporting tasks in the Greater China region - Always bow to clients by taking unreasonable requests or tasks that are out of scope and squeezes junior to finish - Office admin joins top management to oppress staff

Pros

Lots of work life balance, very nice folks, polite and lovely.

Cons

MP is a bully and totally removed from business. Sometimes quality of work is at best sub par. Juniors work extremely hard.. No accountability, zero visibility, weird clients, zero international visibility, lots of of weird people coming and going, hanger ons.

Pros

- Salary is slightly higher than the industry average - Junior staff can gain hands-on experience including business pitching - Junior staff have a chance to liaise with media directly

Cons

- Too much office politics i.e. spend much effort in dealing with internal colleagues and tackling unnecessary anger - Lack of flexibility including close scrutinizing of working hours spent - Discouraging environment for intellectual exchange as management is reluctant to listen to opposite opinions - Long term negative business performance due to lack of management and motivation - Lack of clear and concrete internal policy as decisions are made per subjective will - Overpromising clients on unrealistic KPIs and ineffective tactics
