Cons
Growing pains as the company expands.
Pros
- Great colleagues - Sharing organisation - Flexible work schedule - Proactive working style
Cons
- Sometimes guidance missing - HQ resources oversees, so sometimes left alone
Pros
- energetic atmosphere, great culture, bright colleagues - incredibly fast-growth - opportunity to see what true innovation and growth looks like - room to grow team and career - so much to work on, so many "low hanging fruit," so many areas to add tremendous value immediately
Cons
- constant change can sometimes be difficult to get the hang of things or processes - growing pains: small teams working on independent goals need to transition to more cross-functioning objectives
Pros
Working amongst many talented colleagues.
Cons
There aren't really any growth opportunities.
Pros
Great perks-- beautiful former office, phone booths, wednesday lunches. Colleagues were really great and made lasting friendships. Employee resource groups are active and engaging. Excellent for diversity.
Cons
Job description changed between hiring me and my start date, with no notice to myself. Salary below market, bad health insurance, understaffed teams taking on overwhelming amounts of work, expected to be on-call 24/7. Most of my colleagues and I worked 7am - 9pm, then on-call outside those hours. Had a manager that would never respond before noon or after 4. Extremely inconsistent management. I was overworked and never able to take a sick day, even with a broken joint I needed to tend to. No ability to take appointments even with paperwork for a legal disability. Spoke with HR multiple times and no change to accommodate me.
Pros
friendly colleagues (although lots of talking behind backs) and a positive work environment.
Cons
Lack of leadership or direction - the management team is inexpierenced
