Pros

It's a good cause, and many team members are a joy to be around.

Cons

The turnover rate is horrid because the company either lays people off with no warning, or people leave because treatment and compassion are in such a poor state under the CEO. Discouraged from making connections with one another, with consistent contradictions (encouraged to say no when there is too much on ones plate/discouraged to say no when saying no is the slightest bit inconvenient for someone else; getting in trouble for not taking PTO/hearing annoyance expressed for not being available on PTO; being instructed to halt a project, then weeks later being asked why theres no progress on that very same project). Micromanaging by the CEO. Zero job stability. Superstars of the company have exited due to sheer disrespect. Thriving is impossible and eggshells are aplenty.

Pros

The only good thing is the mission.

Cons

I had the misfortune of working at Kids in Need Foundation, and I must say it was a horrendous experience from start to finish. I felt compelled to write this negative review to caution others who may be considering employment at this company. Poor Management!!! The management utterly incompetent and disconnected from each others and their employees. From day one, it was clear that they lacked the basic skills necessary to lead a team effectively. They showed no interest in addressing concerns or providing guidance. Their lack of direction and support led to confusion and frustration among the employees. The atmosphere was very toxic and demoralizing. The company encouraged a cutthroat and competitive environment. Colleagues were pitted against each other, hindering teamwork and fostering a constant sense of distrust. It was an unhealthy place to work, both mentally and emotionally. Failed to provide any meaningful opportunities for advancement. There was no clear career path, and it seemed as though the company had no interest in investing in its employees growth. I cannot emphasize enough how strongly I discourage anyone from accepting a job at with this company. The combination of poor management, toxic work environment, lack of growth opportunities, and inadequate compensation creates an incredibly disheartening and demotivating experience. ***Save yourself the misery and look elsewhere for employment opportunities that will truly appreciate and nurture your skills and talents.***
