Even with over a decade of experience you must start as Second Cook. The Cheif Cook is on a day rate, you are on an hourly wage. Cheif Cook cooks meals, serves meals, cleans grill and places orders. You are left with everything else, it's more of a galley hand job. Sweeping, mopping, baking, stocking, salad making, laundry, garbage etc. You are left to the discretion of the Cheif Cook as there's no company outline. I was even required to take the Cheif Cook's personal cabin garbage to the incinerator. No teamwork, poor communication.
