Pros
The other pilots are good people and professional. They keep the place together. Accounting is full of good people keeping things afloat.
Cons
New management: one year in and it is a disaster. Customers are leaving. The operations staff, Chief Pilot, DO all left immediately at the end of the retention bonus period. No one in charge now knows what they are doing. New management don’t have the skills or background for the job they’ve been handed. Can’t get credit cards to fuel the airplanes. OPs doesn’t know what FBO we going to. Sometimes they don’t even know where the airplane really is located. Toxic punitive culture. Their “Just” safety culture is really a “just get fired” culture. The flight safety officer is the company snitch. Days off are illegally posted retrospectively at times. Days off aren’t hard until the night before; meaning you might get rescheduled to work your day off up until the night before; so don’t plan anything. They don’t care about employees or customers. They have work processes and checklists that are cumbersome double your work rather that help you work.
