Pros
People oriented; focus on being outside the box; great benefits; great people to work with; extremely diverse technically; emphasis on customer mission and needs to drive investments; flat management chain empowers decision making by those working directly with customers. Diverse customer set provides opportunities to apply skills to a variety of different mission sets.
Cons
Sometimes stovepipes seem to isolate capability too much. Difficult to incentivize independent cost centers to work together. Cost centers run smoothly but overall corporate strategy is like herding cats.
