Pros

New Hire Orientation - Great Employee Training - Great & Ongoing Team Morale - Fair (Con - Hourly) Salaried Managers - Great Pay (BIG Sacrifices and Short Term Employment) Charity - For the Kids - Superb

Cons

***Klicky - Keep ideas and thoughts to yourself, otherwise you will be an outsider .. go ahead and quit if you get in this position. ***Business Interrupting - All corporate team members, with exception to a few are continuously trying to either impress, cover their butts, throw blame.. etc, etc, for the sake of Kessler Kids. Two that expect to be placed on enormous pedestals. To me they are bottom feeders, the unknown. *** Tyrants - Drop everything you are doing if a corporate leader is around.. and if the Hotel God Richard K is around .. don’t make eye contact.. he will either hit on you or fire you.. surely won’t get a pat on the back or a thank you. *** Coverup - Kessler is not the owner of these beautiful properties (exception to Plant Riverside and a couple others) they are more or less a management company with the ideas. All the money comes from XENIA HOTELS. (By far a much more grounded and solid company) *** Hourly Staff under appreciated *** Turnover - IN 40 YEARS I HAVE NEVER seen Turnover so high... the GMs are constantly changing, hourly staff you barely learn their name and poooofph.. they are gone. In a nutshell - If you take the job, watch what you say, hoe you walk, and always keep applying.. you could be booted tomorrow!

Pros

All of the Kessler properties carry a certain prestige because of the architecture design, artwork, and placement of the properties themselves. They are really quite breathtaking.

Cons

It starts with corporate management and flows downhill from there...when most of the corporate staff is narcissistic, insecure and inept in their positions; it breeds the same environment throughout the company. The only focus hotel management has is to save their own jobs and yes they are ALWAYS on the line, even if you are a great employee or corporate puppet. And forget about trying to make a difference, you'll only be "rolling in the mud"

Pros

I can honestly say there is nothing to say except the hotels are beautiful but it stops there.

Cons

The firing that goes on with this company is frightening. So many people losing their jobs for reasons that are frivolous or ego based by senior level leadership. Even on the corporate level the turnover is extremely high. Be wary of this company.
