Stay Away - Toxic

Pros

They do pay you with money.

Cons

Let me give you the real real, this place is toxic. It has been a slow decay since we spun off from J&J from a company that was mission based to a company that is essentially a Private Equity. Insurance thru the roof, any decent perk cut off, bonus nuked by unrealistic goals, layoffs, restructures, delusional belief that getting us all to Summit, NJ will fix the culture. The abhorrent leadership truly reflects this ideology that employees are the problem instead of their unrealistic expectations. Higher goals, insane levels of micromanaging, cut budgets and yet they still expect you to hit your qtr. Oh we have values "Put People First", "Care Fiercely", "Solve with Courage", working here you will question your sanity. It is as cutthroat as CPG gets. Our real values: "Make Rich People Richer", "Your Life for Shareholders", "Squeeze Every Penny Out of Them". At least Lumon severs you so you don't remember what happens at work, Kenvue won't even give you that dignity.

Horrible Experience at Kenvue

Pros

Can’t think of a single pro

Cons

During my time here, I have felt incredibly overworked (with little opportunity to advance), underpaid, underappreciated, and have experienced extremely terrible middle management. I have lost myself while working for this company, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Slow moving due to bloated bureaucracy

Business outlook

Pros

There are great people, but they become few and far between at the higher levels; Good benefits and competitive pay compared to CPG companies (leftover benefit from benchmarking with Pharma, expect to change after the separation)

Cons

The amount of bureaucracy is insane, with thousands of SOPs but no real processes documented; Lack of ownership mindset, no one owns decisions and they're made by consensus, which slows everything down since you need so many approvals to do anything; Too slow to compete with other CPG companies; Senior leaders are not innovative or forward thinking, they are stuck in old mindsets and due to the IPO are frozen with retention bonuses so they're not changing anytime soon; Senior leaders are micro managers, needing to be involved in the minutia instead of big picture, strategic thinking;. Leadership has yet to walk the talk when it comes to values, especially with the disorganization surrounding layoffs; People are quick to talk behind each other's backs, and a "relationship based company" really means they value who you know, not what you know
