Management cares about seniority or loyalty in the company WAY TOO MUCH. If you are slow and don't do work much but have been in the company for 7+ years you will get more perks whereas a young kid who work hard for even 1 year will not get recognized until you are "seniority".
They also drag your probation so make sure you pressure them to review you after the 3 months
