Pros
It’s a great place to work, full of great people. But many policies vary depending on which unit you are in.
Cons
You will not get a raise unless you either get another offer and are retained, or you get promoted, that’s it. Merit raises happened twice in the 10 years I was there and neither kept up with inflation, even though I got close to the maximum percentage increase each time.
