Pros

I have worked more than 3.5 years in this company. There is a lot of opportunities to learn things, especially if you are a fresher. The package is also good except there is some complications in the incentive calculations. Most of the employees who complaint about the company is because, there was some problems with the previous HR department as well as few new policies. I also had few issues with this. In my experience - even though there had some delay in getting the incentives and retention bonus - they cleared all the pending dues before I leave the company. The company had some financial problems at times like any other business and I believe that was the reason behind the pending dues. Regarding the working culture, It was awesome to work in this company. Good and helping colleagues. Work- life balance is also very good. There is no gap between old managers and employees. Also , Most of the Managers are really good in technical capabilities. Over all, It was really a good experience to work in this company. I wish nothing but the best future in the industry for Kalkitech!!

Cons

Old HR department had serious issues to deal with employees (I hope it is better now). There is some complications in the incentives and performance grade calculations. Some departments lacks career growth.

It was a very good place to get technical knowledge. There was a good time in company when managers /BU heads were genuine. There was no gap between management and employees. Employees were dedicated and sincere to the management.Even after resigning we still have kalki get2gthr miles away from the company. We all were a part of kalkitech family culture which doesn't exist now. Currently its management and employees. Now employees within the company have only bad things about the company. That was not the case few years back.

Cons

1)Freshers : Will get high package with 2 yr bond. But they wont give the amount back and after you sent a series of mails, they will give the amount ONLY as installments and make the bond period indirectly 2.5 to 3yrs. Why cant company make it clear in bond that retention bonus wont be given immediately after 2 yrs.? (2) Experienced: You have a variable pay which will vary as the name suggests. Pay will be varying, percentage will be varying and even the policy will be varying any time! And the most interesting thing is no body in the company knows the date of disbursement of incentive. (3)Lots of false commitments. All the managers become managers just because they have crossed experience of 8 or 9 yrs not because they have the skills to do that. They would be good technically but too bad in managing people. Not even 20 percentage of the issues are reaching CEO level. (4)Intranet was the most awkward thing! Grow up. I was able to login to intranet for months after resigning. Its the first thing you give to your employees. Much better solutions are available for even beauty parlours.! The situation of the company reflects in Intranet. Every one complaints no body takes the efforts for permanent solution!!At some point you have to stop bug fixes and revamp. (5)Most of the issues come from one basic thing. Lack of monitoring. At projects level as well as management level. Rules are set and the results are reviewed and discussed. No efforts to monitor whether things are in place. When ever monitored on daily/monthly basis kalkitech have shown wonders. (6) Freshers are professionally treated as enemies just because of the salary difference with the experienced employees. Wake up and understand, that also is a reason why they are leaving after bond period as they are hearing only bad things about company in 2 years.
