      Pros

      A television station is a fun place to work. Interesting guests from Sea World or the occasional celebrity would stop by to appear on the Midday Show.

      Cons

      The news business can be depressing with all of the crime and bad news that gets reported. Fewer people watch TV newscasts, so the station has to cut costs to keep pace with the slowing profits. High turnover at the station.
